Terms of Participation
Last updated: 31.08.2026
By submitting a website through our form, you are applying to take part in the “299Quid” website redesign offer. The following terms apply.
1. Selection of Websites & Rejected Submissions
Submitting a website does not guarantee that we will redesign it. We review each submission and decide whether the website is suitable for the 299Quid offer.
A submission may be declined if we consider the amount of work required to be too extensive for the scope of the £299 offer. This may include, in particular, websites with a large number of pages, extensive amounts of content, complex functionality, or other requirements that would make the redesign significantly more time-consuming than a typical small business website.
We reserve the right to accept or decline submissions at our discretion. There is no guarantee that a submitted website will be selected or redesigned, and we are not required to complete a redesign within a specific timeframe.
If a website is not suitable for the standard 299Quid offer, we may contact you with an alternative offer. You are under no obligation to accept such an offer.
2. Design Input & No Revision Process
The £299 price is made possible in part by keeping the redesign process simple and avoiding the revision and feedback cycles that are typically part of a custom website project.
After submitting your website and email address, you will have an opportunity to provide written preferences for the redesign. For example, you may tell us about colours, styles, or websites you like, as well as other information you think may be helpful when creating the new design.
We will take this information into consideration when creating the redesign. However, your preferences are provided as guidance only and do not constitute specific design requirements. We retain creative discretion over the final design.
Once the redesign has been created, there is no included revision or feedback process. You are not entitled to request changes, revisions, alternative designs, or further iterations as part of the £299 offer.
We may choose to make minor changes or adjustments upon request, but any such changes are made entirely at our discretion as a gesture of goodwill and do not create an obligation to make further revisions.
3. Preview, Purchase Decision & No Obligation to Purchase
The completed redesign will be presented to you before you are asked to make any payment.
You can then decide whether you would like to purchase the redesigned website for £299 GBP.
If you do not wish to purchase the redesigned website, you are under no obligation to do so. You will not be charged simply because you submitted your website or because we created a redesign for you.
The £299 offer is intended to provide small businesses with a professionally redesigned website at a price significantly below what a comparable custom website would typically cost. The simplified design process described above, together with our content model described below, helps make this pricing possible.
4. Purchase & Payment Process
If you decide that you would like to purchase the redesigned website, please let us know.
Where you would like us to install the website on your existing hosting environment, we may first ask you to provide the necessary access so that we can assess whether the installation can reasonably be completed within the scope of the £299 offer.
Once the method of delivery and, where applicable, the feasibility of installation have been confirmed, we will issue an invoice for £299 GBP.
Payment must be made using the bank details and payment instructions provided on the invoice. Payment in full is required before the website is installed, transferred, or otherwise delivered to you.
The amount payable to us is £299 GBP. Any currency conversion or banking costs charged to us by our own bank are borne by us and do not increase the £299 purchase price.
Any fees charged to you by your bank or payment provider in connection with making the payment are your responsibility.
Once payment has been received in full, we will either install the website on the agreed hosting environment or provide the completed website files to you, depending on the agreed method of delivery.
5. Taxes & VAT
The price charged by us for the website is £299 GBP.
Depending on your business status and applicable UK tax rules, you may be required to account for VAT or other taxes in the United Kingdom, including under the reverse charge mechanism.
Any taxes, VAT reporting obligations, or similar charges imposed on you by the tax authorities in your country are your responsibility and are not included in the £299 price unless expressly stated otherwise on the invoice.
If you are unsure about the tax treatment applicable to your business, you should seek advice from your accountant or tax adviser.
6. Website Delivery & Technical Implementation
If you purchase the redesign, you will receive the completed redesigned website.
Depending on the website, your existing hosting environment, and the requirements of the project, the website may be implemented as a WordPress website or as a static website.
Where necessary, we will discuss the appropriate technical implementation with you. The technical implementation may also depend on the capabilities and limitations of your existing hosting environment.
7. Hosting
Hosting is not included in the £299 price. You are responsible for providing a suitable hosting environment for the website.
We do not require access to your hosting environment during the initial redesign process.
If you decide to purchase the website and would like us to install it for you, we will ask you to provide the access reasonably required to assess and perform the installation.
Depending on your hosting provider and website setup, this may include hosting access, FTP/SFTP credentials, WordPress administrator access, or other relevant technical access.
You are not required to provide us with access to your hosting environment. If you prefer not to provide access, or if you are unable to do so, you may still purchase the website and arrange for its installation yourself or through a third party.
8. Website Installation
Installation of the completed website on your existing hosting environment is included in the £299 price, provided that the installation can be completed within a reasonable and standard technical scope.
Before payment, we may review your hosting environment to determine whether installation can reasonably be carried out within the scope of the offer.
We reserve the right to decline the installation if your hosting environment, server configuration, existing website setup, technical restrictions, or other circumstances make the installation unusually complex, time-consuming, or unsuitable for us to carry out.
If we determine that we cannot provide the installation within the scope of the offer, we will inform you before payment where reasonably possible.
You may then decide whether you still wish to purchase the website. If you proceed with the purchase, the completed website will be provided to you so that you can install it yourself or arrange for a third party to install it on your behalf.
The purchase price remains £299 regardless of whether we install the website for you. Installation is an included service where technically feasible and does not represent a separately priced component of the purchase.
9. Social Media & Content Creation
Part of the 299Quid model is documenting selected website redesigns and turning the redesign process into content for YouTube, social media, and other 299Quid marketing channels.
This may include showing the original website, parts of the redesign process, design decisions, comparisons between the original and redesigned website, and the finished result.
This content model is one of the factors that allows us to offer website redesigns at the £299 price.
However, participation in published content is optional. We will only publish content featuring your website or business if you have explicitly agreed to this during the submission process.
Before any content featuring your website or business is published, we will provide you with an opportunity to review it. You may ask us to remove or obscure personal, confidential, or identifying information before publication.
This review is intended to protect your privacy and business information and does not include a general right to request creative or editorial changes to the content.
Declining consent for publication does not create an obligation to purchase the redesigned website.
10. Anonymisation of Personal & Business Information
Unless you have separately and explicitly agreed otherwise, we will anonymise identifying information in published content.
This includes, in particular:
- the names and faces of employees or other identifiable individuals,
- the full business or company name and address,
- the submitted domain or URL,
- email addresses, telephone numbers, and other contact details.
We will only intentionally disclose such identifying information where you have provided separate and explicit consent for us to do so.
